celebrate the onset of spring with these amazing and rather accessible donuts: baked lemon cake donuts with a meyer lemon glaze found on Prevention RD. these donuts are made with agave syrup and whole wheat flour and egg whites…so if you want a more authentic baked donut you could use the full-fat recipe from King Arthur Flour this batter was based on and just adapt it for lemons (drop the spices, add lemon zest and replace the water with lemon juice). either way, this looks like a glorious breakfast!
